It is once again time for Bay County Mosquito Control's aerial treatment program for control of mosquito larvae. As in past years, the week-long treatment will begin in mid-April. Click HERE for the 2009 Bay County Mosquito Control Announcement.

Bay County Mosquito Control will utilize one helicopter and two airplanes to apply a naturally occurring granular control material, known as Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis). Bti is specific to mosquito and black fly larvae, causing quick mortality to both.
