P.A. 161 of 2013
“Disabled Veterans Exemption”
Governor Snyder recently signed into
law P.A. 161 of 2013.
Honorably discharged disabled
veterans or their surviving un-remarried spouse may be eligible for exemption
from real property tax for property used and owned as their principal
residence.
Eligible veterans can apply for
current and future exemptions prior to the December Board of Review, which will
be held December 10, 2013.
